Q: What versions of Windows does
NetDMZ support?

Q: Can NetDMZ monitor ALL users on my network from one
location?
Yes, that is the purpose of NetDMZ. Once NetDMZ is installed on
each client on your network, you can view each PC from your
central log viewer on your PC. As long as you are on the same
LAN as the other PC's, you can view them with no problem!
Q: Will the use of the NetDMZ affect our normal LAN
activities and traffic?
The use of NetDMZ won't affect your normal LAN activities and
traffic. NetDMZ is a really small and efficient application.
It works quietly in the background
and has been optimized to minimize resource use.
Q: How to uninstall NetDMZ client?
If client properly connected to the server, please uninstall
client according to direction as follows:
1.Open the NetDMZ server, choose the client which you want to
uninstall, click right.
2.you can see the options, click "Close NetDMZ client, Don't
load on Windows startup next time"
3.That's OK.
If client not connected to the server, please uninstall client
according to direction as follows:
1. Type "Shift+ Alt +F" (or your setting hotkey), put into the
password, then "OK", NetDMZ default password is empty.
2. Uncheck "Load on Windows startup" option, then "save and
hide".
3. Type "Shift +Alt + F" , put into the password again.
4. Click "End", that's OK.
Q: Is there a way to monitor the URL’s visited with Firefox
or navigator?
NetDMZ can monitor the URL visited with Firefox but not the
navigator, the record of URL visited with Firefox can be found
and you also can learn URL visited through screenshots when
employees using the navigator. NetDMZ can monitor all URL
visited through IE (Internet Explorer) .
Q: Is NetDMZ detectable? Can employees disable NetDMZ client?
It is possible to set NetDMZ to run in an invisible stealth
mode, then NetDMZ is virtually undetectable. When NetDMZ is in
the invisible mode, it will not show up even if the user presses
Shift + Alt + F. The only way to access or make NetDMZ reappear
is by pressing a series of secret key combinations that you
decide. Once the secret key combination is pressed you will be
requested for your NetDMZ password to ensure that only you have
access to the program. NetDMZ also has the option to run in a
visible mode, if you would like the person to know that they are
being monitored.
Q: Will NetDMZ slow down my computer?
NetDMZ monitoring software is a really small and efficient
application. It works quietly in the background and has been
optimized to minimize resource use. You will not notice any
decrease of performance of your computer. There is also a wide
variety of settings that you can adjust to improve performance.
Q: The NetDMZ Server and Client are installed, but I cannot
view my employees’ computer?
Make sure you enter the correct IP or names of computer
installed with NetDMZ Server. If your Firewall warns you about
NetDMZ, please simply instruct it to allow NetDMZ to run. If all
the ways above have no help, you should restart your employees’
computers. Maybe the firewall in your computer will stop the
connection between NetDMZ server and client, you should add both
the server and client in the trusted list. If you don't know how
to do it you can also stop or uninstall the firewall first and
after you tried the NetDMZ successfully you can install it
again.
Q: Is NetDMZ difficult to install and use?
NetDMZ installation is a self guided process that takes less
than five minutes. NetDMZ has a typical Windows interface that
is very easy to learn. NetDMZ's on-line help, tutorials and user
guides are very extensive and easy to use.
